Along Knights Valley wine road Knights Valley Wine Road in the Fall Knights Valley is one of Sonoma County’s 16 designated wine appellations (American Viticultural Area). I shot this photo last November along Highway 128. I call it Knights Valley wine road because of the beautiful vineyards that you can see as you drive along Knights Valley.

  • 2013 Thumbprint Cellars Viognier

Read Part 6 of our Starting a Family Winery Series Back at the end of September, we finished barreling our wines so they can mature and rest comfortably and Donna and I headed back to Denver. A Halloween party invitation and the wonderful Pinot on the River event in Healdsburg were enough excuse to bolt from Denver for a long weekend back in Sonoma to taste our three J. Cage Cellars wines.
