… 2009 Domaine Királyudvar “Pezsgö” Brut Oh boy, this is some special stuff - sparkling wine from Hungary! A really lovely color of pale gold. Lots of classic champagne notes on the nose - yeast, apple, lemon, and shortbread. Lovely mousse (bubbles) on the palate. Lemon crème initially makes way to stone with golden flowers, hint of shortbread, crushed cashews, and a touch of bread with burnt honey. Really, really lovely. 5/5 bones $$ Furmint, Hárslevelu 13% abv Tokaj, HUNGARY …

Almost off-dry on the palate with GREAT acidity. Delicious apple cider notes with lemon, flowers, and lighter stones. Lovely, sweet (but not cloying) finish. 5/5 bones $$ Furmint 12.5% abv Tokaji, HUNGARY …
